Trappsoul is what happens when two of Northwest Arkansas' most relentless artists stop making solo records and start making history together. The duo of SHOR-TD and DONLEY — two TWM originals and longtime collaborators — formally joined forces as Blackhearts in late 2018, reshaping the local scene before rebranding as Trappsoul in the summer of 2019. The name says it all: the grit of trap, the vulnerability of soul, fused into something that didn't exist in Arkansas before they made it.
SHOR-TD brought the precision — nearly two decades of bars, street authenticity, and the kind of stage presence that turns a small club into an arena. DONLEY brought the melody — pop sensibility, emotional range, and the ability to turn a hook into something people carry with them for years. Together they created a sound that crosses every lane without belonging to any one of them.
From underground shows at Club Lush to Prairie Street, from Springfield to Fayetteville, Trappsoul built their fanbase the old-fashioned way — on stage, in the room, face to face. Their catalog spans turn-up anthems, late-night R&B, and introspective cuts that hit different depending on where you're at in life. They've never chased trends. They've always been ahead of them.
Trappsoul has always been The Worldz Mine. Now they have the page to prove it. New music is coming. The chapter is just beginning.
